Patient 6 years old, 3 week after extraction, fixed space maintainer was planned for preventing space loss after extraction of tooth number 54 (first primary molar). Digital impression was chosen to avoid patient fear, solve cooperation problem and keep patient calm down.

During the scanning process, digital measurements were taken using a small scanning tip to ensure the patient's comfort. It's very useful for kids. Also, silicon impression materials provoke the gag reflex for child. Digital impression technique has many advantages compare with the conventional methods.
