This case comes from Dr. Hakan Çolak in Turkey. He graduated from the Marmara University School of Dentistry in 2008 and received PhD in 2013 from Restorative Dentistry. He has been published many papers at international dental journals. He has been acting as an Editor-in-Chief of European Journal of General Dentistry since 2012. His main interest area is Direct Restorations, CAD/CAM systems, Adhesive Ceramic Restorations and Endodontics. Currently he is working as private practitioner in Kocaeli Turkey.

• Case

32 year old lady was attended the clinic for failed composite filling on lower first molar tooth. After initial examination it was noticed there was also a problem with second molar. Patient was informed that indirect restoration could be better solution for restorating those teeth.

• Treatment Process

First of all, all existing old filling component was carefully removed. After that, poor root canal filling was removed. And then canal were cleaned, reshaped and filled. Cavity was filling composite resin and final preparation was completed.

After root canal treatment was completed, cavity was sandblasted with Aguacare, etched, bond and filled with composite resin in order to get uniform optimization. Crown preperation on first molar and inlay preparation on second molar was done completed.
